BSG APPOINTS A NEW DIRECTOR SALES & MARKETING

Chris de Silva is the new Director Sales & Marketing for The Business Supply Group Limited (BSG); de Silva who previously held the position of Head of Business Development at the BOSS division assumed the role on October 1, 2020.

BSG consists of two divisions: SCRIP-J founded by Robert Campbell in 1978 which is focused on Printing & Packaging and BOSS, founded by his brother, the late Christopher Campbell in 1991 which is focused on Office & School Supplies, Office Furniture, Thermal and Bond Rolls.

The two divisions have always operated separately; with shared services in Finance, HR and IT. However, the decision was made by the Board to further integrate to gain additional synergies.

At BOSS, de Silva had overall responsibility for Sales & Marketing in the Wholesale, Corporate and Export segments of the business, which he will continue while taking on the new challenge of Sales & Marketing for SCRIP-J.

He has over 36 years experience in the field of Sales and Business Management and was the Managing Director of Caribbean Data Supplies for 22 years.

For the first time in the groups history, The Business Supply Group Limited (BSG) will have a female CEO. Jane Wight, who previously held the position of CEO at BOSS assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, BSG on October 1, 2020.
