For the first time in the groups history, The Business Supply Group Limited (BSG) will have a female CEO. Jane Wight, who previously held the position of CEO at BOSS assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, BSG on October 1, 2020.
BSG consists of two divisions: SCRIP-J founded by Robert Campbell in 1978 which is focused on Printing & Packaging and BOSS, founded by his brother, the late Christopher Campbell in 1991 which is focused on Office & School Supplies, Office Furniture, Thermal and Bond Rolls.
The two divisions have always operated separately; with shared services in Finance, HR and IT. However, the decision was made by the Board to further integrate to gain additional synergies. Wight has bravely taken up the reigns to lead not one, but both divisions during a precarious time in our world’s history.
She plans to focus her energies on increasing productivity by inspiring and engaging staff and she knows that this will translate to an even more customer-focused organisation that customers will benefit from.
She holds a Masters of Human Resource Management from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, University of the West Indies, a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from the University of Guelph, and currently sits on the Employment and Labour Relations Committee at the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Wight is also a former board member of the Human Resource Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
